Washington has announced a new round of tripartite negotiations between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States, to be held November 10 and 11 in Abu Dhabi. These discussions, organized under American mediation, are expected to focus on the conditions for a settlement to the war, security guarantees, and de-escalation measures. Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will represent the United States. Despite this diplomatic initiative, Moscow and Kyiv remain deeply divided on the terms of a peace agreement, while fighting continues on the ground.
