33 DEAD IN SAUDI STRIKES IN YEMEN

Published on 08/11/2026 | 07:23

The Houthi rebels announced the deaths of 33 people, including 13 children, in airstrikes attributed to Saudi Arabia against several homes east of Sana'a, the Yemeni capital. The toll also included 39 wounded. In retaliation, the Houthis claimed responsibility for further missile and drone attacks against Saudi oil and military installations, as well as Riyadh airport. This escalation marks a further intensification of the conflict between Riyadh and the Iranian-backed movement. Saudi authorities stated they are investigating the accusations, which have not yet been independently verified.
