SCHAEFFLER SUPPRIME 3460 POSTES EN EUROPE
German automotive supplier Schaeffler has announced the elimination of 3,460 jobs in Europe and the closure of five sites, four of which are in Germany. This new restructuring plan, to be implemented by 2028, primarily affects production and research and development. The group justifies this decision by citing the slowdown in the automotive market, international competition, and the challenges associated with the transition to electric vehicles. In France, the Haguenau and Toulouse sites will also be affected by adjustments to staffing levels and industrial capacity.
