LES ETATS UNIS APPROUVENT UN GENERIQUE CONTRE LE VIH
US health authorities have approved a generic version of Lenacapavir, an injectable HIV prophylaxis treatment developed by the Indian pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's. Administered twice a year, this drug could be offered for around $40 per person per year in 120 low- and middle-income countries. This development could significantly expand access to pre-exposure prophylaxis, as the original treatment marketed by Gilead costs more than $28,000 per year in the United States. Initial distributions could begin quickly, subject to local approvals and supply capacity.
