L UE ALERTE SUR DES CYBERATTAQUES CONTRE LES SUPERMARCHES
The European Commission has condemned a series of cyberattacks targeting supermarket refrigeration systems in several European countries, including Belgium, Sweden, Estonia, Luxembourg, and Ireland. Hackers took control of the equipment to raise the temperature of refrigerators and freezers, resulting in the destruction of food. These incidents are reminiscent of a similar attack in France in October, which affected several hundred stores. Brussels considers these operations particularly worrying for the security of food supply chains and consumer confidence.
